In the first workshop, Introduction to Programming with Python 1: Variables, Data Types, and Logic, you learned the foundations of programming by working with variables, data types, and basic operations. These concepts provide the building blocks for writing Python programs. In this second workshop, we will expand those skills by exploring how programs make decisions, repeat actions, and organize information. You will learn how to control the flow of a program using conditional statements and loops, store data using Python’s built-in data structures, and create reusable sections of code with functions. By the end of this workshop, you will have a stronger understanding of how individual pieces of Python code work together to create complete programs. These skills form the foundation for more advanced topics, including software development, automation, data analysis, and machine learning.
