3D Printing 102: Intermediate Printing Skills

Take your 3D printing skills beyond the basics by learning how to optimize print settings, choose the right filament for your projects, and improve part strength and quality through smarter design. Students will explore advanced slicer settings, compare common and specialty materials, and learn techniques to reduce print failures while creating stronger, more functional prints.

Temperature, speed, and cooling adjustments

PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, and specialty filaments

Designing for strength and durability

Print orientation and support reduction

Troubleshooting common print issues

Prerequisite: Completion of 3D Printing 101 or equivalent beginner experience. No design experience required.

Refund Policy:

Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.

14+ days before the first class: Full refund.

7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.

Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.

Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.
