Join us at Great Wagon Road Distilling in NoDa for a relaxed, intimate night of tasting. Your seat includes samples from all nine barrels across our Rye, Bourbon and Malt whiskey, plus a Doc Porter’s cocktail and some of Great Wagon Road's pizza. Taste side by side, compare notes, and find the barrel that feels like yours.

Why Barrel Strength Matters

Most whiskey is cut with water before bottling to bring the proof down. Ours usually reached your glass at 90 proof. Barrel strength skips the water. Your whiskey goes from the cask to the bottle exactly as it aged, with all its depth and character intact. It’s rarely offered to the public.

Make It Yours

Bottles of the barrel strength products are a fixed $30 each, and a barrel yields an estimated 90 bottles, so a barrel comes to about $2,700 plus tax. Your final total depends on the exact bottle count.

Claim one on your own or bring your crew and share it. Either way, if you buy the whole barrel, the empty barrel is yours to keep at no cost. Reserve with a $500 deposit, and your bottles will be ready before Christmas.
