The Great Outdoors with Redbud

The Great Outdoors

From the heart of Nashville, The Great Outdoors has grown from a circle of best friends into one of the scene’s most dynamic new bands. Their story is one of connection—six musicians from across the country drawn together by a shared devotion to the jam, the groove, and the unpredictable beauty of live improvisational music. Each member carries a different piece of America in their playing: the ocean air of New Jersey, the warmth of North Carolina, the edge of Nevada, the rhythm of New York, and the soul of the Midwest. Together, they create a sound that’s expansive yet intimate—where roots rock collides with improvisation, and every performance feels like a new discovery. As a jam band, The Great Outdoors thrives on the unknown. No two shows are ever the same—songs evolve, moments stretch, and audiences become part of the conversation. Their music flows like a living thing, guided by instinct, friendship, and the shared pulse between stage and crowd. For The Great Outdoors, music is more than a setlist—it’s an open space where memories, miles, and melodies meet. Step into The Great Outdoors—where sound, freedom, and friendship are endless.
