The Retrograde - Come Around Again Tour with Von Attica

The Retrograde

THOUGH THE RETROGRADE IS NOT THE FIRST BAND TO FIND INSPIRATION INTHE CLASSICS, THEY ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE FIRST TO DO SO WITH THELEVEL OF RESPECT AND ORIGINALITY THAT THEY ARE SPEEDILY BECOMINGSYNONYMOUS WITH. WHILE MANY OF THEIR CONTEMPORARIES WITH A FLAIRFOR VINTAGE ROMANTICS AND BEAT DOWN TUBE AMPS FIND THEMSELVES FALLING INTO PATTERNS OF IMITATION RATHER THAN INSPIRATION, OUR TALLAHASSEE BOYS STAY CLASSIC BUT NEVER STALE, VINTAGE

BUT NEVERDUSTY. -ROB LUCCHESI

Von Attica

Von Attica, or "of the Attic", is an original rock trio made up of North

Carolina's Blake Samperi (bass and vocals), Jacob White (electric guitar),

and Sean Mabe (huge drums). All of which have been impacted by the roaring

age of Rock n Roll, mixed with the alluring vibe of 90s alternative and its

lasting effects on modern music.

Their energy in performance is contagious along with their effortless

chemistry, which makes them ripe for fresh live music. This trio is hot off

the press and ready to tickle your ear drums with their explosive and catchy

sonic succulents.
