Public Speaking Accelerator — Charlotte Cohort
Your skills get you hired. Your voice gets you promoted.
Nail your next presentation, promotion interview, or pitch, or you don't pay.
Does your heart start pounding right before it's your turn to speak? Does your voice come out weaker than the one in your head? Do you ramble or lose your train of thought, even though the words came easily when there was no pressure?
The Public Speaking Accelerator is a full day of in-person speaking and coaching. It's built around the fastest way to get really good at speaking: practice in front of real people with an expert coach by your side. You get specific feedback, try again on the spot, and repeat until calm, clear, and confident is simply how you speak.
Fair warning: this is not a passive seminar. You wouldn't learn to drive by watching YouTube. You'd get behind the wheel. If you want a lecture you can sit through anonymously, this isn't it. But if you're in: by the end of the day, the people around you will hear the difference.

Your coach
Joseph VanderStel came to speaking coaching from music: a PhD in music theory, teaching at MIT, and a decade studying how sound holds attention. In 8 years he has coached around 3,000 people, many of them introverts who were sure they were the exception. He appeared on WCCB Charlotte's Rising morning show in July 2025.
