Charlotte Marriott City Center

Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts+Culture invites you to the return of one of Charlotte’s most cherished holiday traditions. Join us at Charlotte Marriott City Center as we celebrate and honor former Mayor Vi Lyles for her leadership and legacy, Nucor for its philanthropic spirit, and Charlotte’s own Stephanie J. Woods for her excellence in artistic expression. For sponsorship opportunities, contact Sharrell Janvier at sharrell@ganttcenter.org.

These Christian contemporary dance classes are open to ALL ages and ALL levels, whether you’re a beginner, an experienced dancer, or simply someone with a heart to worship Jesus through movement. Come as you are. Come to dance, worship, find community, grow in your faith, and create space for healing. Whether you’re walking through a season of breakthrough, restoration, joy, or simply need a place to encounter God, there is room for you here. Through powerful contemporary choreography set to worship music, we’re creating an environment where movement becomes more than dance—it becomes an offering. This is a space to let go of comparison, release expectations, move freely, and shift your focus from performing for the world to praising the One who gave you your gifts. This is more than a dance class. It’s worship. It’s community. It’s healing. It’s a reminder of what God can do. And because we want you to take the experience home with you, ALL classes will be filmed, and footage will be made available to every dancer! Come ready to move, connect, and glorify Jesus with us. We can’t wait to worship with you on the East Coast! FOLLOW @WORSHIPWERK ON ALL PLATFORMS!
