South Charlotte VA Clinic

What: On November 19th, The Independence Fund will host a Feeding Independence event at the Charlotte VA Clinic. This event will provide Veterans with nonperishable groceries, fresh produce, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies. These drive-thru events are held at local VA medical centers nationwide to combat food insecurity among Veterans and their families. When: Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 10 am-1 pm (volunteers need to arrive at 9 am, program begins at 10 am). Dates are subject to change in the event of an emergency. Where: We will be located in Parking Lot C of the South Charlotte VA Clinic, 3506 West Tyvola Road, Charlotte, NC 28208. This will be a drive-thru event. To volunteer, please sign up through this event page. Volunteers will assist with packing donation bags and loading food boxes into vehicles. Thank you for considering serving with us.
